Bryn's Birthday Olympic Party

The Cutest Birthday Olympian ever!!!!
Birthday girls Kaydra and Brynlee.
Shoe box hurtles.
Making wishes!
Present time!

Brynlee and one of her BFF's decided to do a combined b-day party because they are only 4 days apart and have all of the same friends and hobbies. It was a great idea and turned out sooooo cute! We themed the party as the "Birthday Olympics". Brynlee has been enthralled with the Olympic trials of gymnastics on T.V. so we went with it. Plus it's an olympic year so it seemed appropriate. We sent out invites with the Olympic rings on the front (in girly colors instead of the traditional ones). On the inside was a picture of our girls running down the street with torches in their hands. It was adorable! We set up an olympic arena in our backyard with all sorts of "events" to attend. We had shoe box hurtles, a jump rope station, a bean bag toss station, gymnastics station, hula hoops and of course, a water balloon toss. We also had a trampoline exhibition. The kids had a lunch of hot dogs, watermelon, chips and gatorades. They recieved a prize at each station that they added to their Olympic treat bag. Each "athlete" had their picture taken with a gold medal around their necks standing in front of the American Flag. All in all it was a total success and a very cool party.

Wow, you went to a lot of work! My birthday parties have so far only consisted of a trip to Cabelas where they hosted the party, I just showed up with a cake and paid the bill...you are a more dedicated mother!
