A Glimpse into My Life...

The tops of the washer and dryer have become "workspace".

The living room is the "catch-all". Notice the fridge, island, table, trash can, kids play space, etc...

My carpet pulled back from the project area...watch your feet!

HELP! I've been living like this for 2 weeks! Those of you who know me well can attest to the fact that I REALLY like my space to be organized and clean. The floor project has been a tricky one. Too much sanding, too little sanding, too thick on the top coat, too many bubbles in the top coat...this is a total art people! So here we are (figuring out this art through trial and error) and living in this nightmare! The floor looks pretty good about now (as long as you don't look too closely), but we still have to keep the appliances and furniture off of it for 72 hours after the last coat of polyurethane. The oven and dishwasher have been in the garage, the fridge in the living room along with the old kitchen island and our table. We have been eating out of a box of food in the living room on plastic and paperware. My carpet is pulled up in various locations exposing the spikes that aren't pleasant to step on. There has been dust EVERYWHERE! It's been fun so far:) We are hoping to start the painting next week. Yay! So here is a glimpse into my life lately.
