An Easter Story...

I feel like this should be part 2 of a "Series of Unfortunate Events" about holidays at the Richardson's. I don't know what my kids have against holidays, but one of them ALWAYS seems to get sick on them. Don't worry, we don't have any video of vomit this time, but poor little Bryn was sick again! She was fevering and had a horrible cough. I had been sick and lost my voice, Kyle was complaining of tummy trouble...we were a little bit of a mess. But it all turned out all right. We opened easter Baskets while Bryn took a few breaks to just lay down. Then we bailed on our 9am church and stuffed Bryn with some Motrin and all went back to bed for some much needed relaxing. Everyone felt much better and so we dressed up and went to my sisters ward to take the sacrament on Easter Sunday and hear Courtney give her talk on "The Resurrection". She did a great job (of course!). Then we headed over to my parents for the egg hunt with cousins and a lovely dinner. It started off rough, but ended well. The weather was a little on the cool side for spring attire, but we braved the outdoor egg hunt anyway! Bryn is still fighting her bug, and we hope she gets better soon.
