...to school that is! Today marked the first day of school for my kiddos. It's a BIG year for each of them. Bryce started high school...can you believe that?!!! Our sweet Kye started middle school (6th grade) and Brynlee began 1st grade. So many emotions are blowing thru me today. Bryce has a lot on his plate strating this year and it's not gonna let up till he graduates. He started early morning seminary too which means he gets up at 5:15am everyday to attend a church class where he has reading assignments daily. Then he starts school at 7:35 and then goes straight to golf practice for a couple of hours. Then he'll have to squeeze in homework and try to get some sleep then do it all over again the next day. Whew! I know we all survived it, but I still pray that he will be able to juggle it all and be successful. Poor Kyle has been so worried about handling middle school. He is nervous about finding all of his classes at the right times. He is worried about remembering and being able to work his locker combination. He is also concerned about the work load which he is anticipating to be too much. I know he will feel better after the first day and I keep reminding him that he is not alone...everyone feels nervous at the beginning of middle school. And then there is Brynlee who is excited and anticipating tonz of fun in first grade. Her teacher is super cute and her classroom seems comfortable. Today she will eat lunch at school for the first time (and I will eat lunch alone...sad!). I keep thinking about them and wondering how and what they are doing. I can't wait until 3:10 when I can pick their little brains about their day.
Any of you with older boys may know what I'm talking about when I say "good luck getting a first day of school picture!" I had to sneak a shot of Bryce in the car on the way to school and then as he was walking into the building. Kye had the same attitude about taking pix at school. Bryn is a supermodel (or so she thinks!) so she will pose like a princess whenever I want. That would be why there are more pix of her than of those pesky boys;)
Sneak shot of Bryce on his way to high school. *Sniff, Sniff*

A shout out to mormon kids and of course the moms! I am here to play how about an afternoon movie? They all look so cute!
Fun pictures. It is a big year for you with high school, middle school and your baby in all day school.
I hope you enjoyed your day and that their first day of school went well.
