S-W-I-N-G golfer, golfer, SWING!
Bryce started high school this year and his sport of choice is golf. His high school, being a small charter school, doesn't have their own team, so he is playing for another local high school in town called Northridge. He is the only freshman on his team and the only one from another school, so it can be a little intimidating, but he is really enjoying it. The other night our family went out to the driving range for Family Home Evening and everyone hit golf balls (except me...I was taking pix! Ha ha!). It was fun to watch Bryce since his sport isn't one where you go to a game for an hour or two and watch. We mostly drop him off at the course and then hear all about it when we pick him up. It's been a neat opportunity for him and I think he's learning a lot and improving his game with all the time he spends on the course. He is there almost daily. He really enjoys his coach and has gotten to know pretty much all the guys who work at his course, which is fun for him. The season is pretty quick here with the changing weather, so he'll be wrapping up the end of this month.
