Brynlee had cherries for the first time the other day. I showed her how to eat them properly...put it in your mouth, pull off the stem and bite it till you get to the pit...then you spit out the pit and swallow. Easy enough right?! She got really nervous and covered her mouth with her hands and, with a worried look in her eyes, said "What if I swallow the nut? It will choke me!" I reassured her that she wouldn't swallow the "nut" because it is too big to miss. Of course, she cautiously tried. It was a bit of a disaster. Let's just say there was a lot of saliva involved in cherry number one. After that, she kinda got the hang of it and before I knew it she was an old pro. She then replies "MMMM. I love cherries!"

So fuuny! I gave Andrew one the other day and kinda forgot about it. Later that night I found the pit next to his bathroom sink. I tried giving him another one today and he told me, "no, I don't want want to eat the seed".
