Bryce and his Elk

Here is a pic of Bryce's first Elk. The shot went right through the animal's lungs and heart so it didn't suffer at all. It was a perfect shot. You gain a profound respect for the circle of life by hunting. I am grateful that Bill has taught our kids to repect animals and nature in hunting. It was a great experience and it's so nice to know that by gardening, canning, and hunting, we can become self sufficient. In addition to all of that, it was a priceless time to spend together for Bill and Bryce. All they had was time and each other's company. That is a treasure too. Anyone for an elk steak???!!!

That elk is huge. It looks to be about 3 times the size of Bryce. Awesome job and what a fun time for a father and son to spend together.

I definitely think this and any other hunting pictures need scrapped. :)
