I've been absolutely DYING to share this on my blog!!! I finally figured out how to get these pix all transferred over. This is my beautiful new niece, Christina. Bill's sis, Julie, and her hubby, Scott, have been going thru the adoption process for about 3 long years now and we just got word on Friday that there is this sweet little "China Doll" (as grandpa Richardson calls her) waiting for her mommy and daddy to come and get her in a little over a month. There were lots of tears and cheers and hoo-rahs with that call last week. We are soooo grateful that this precious little girl will be joining our family!!! She is 9 months old, born July 8th of last year. Scott and Julie are preparing for parenthood (you two are gonna be AMAZING parents!) and for a 2 week trip to China in June. Can't wait to finally meet her in person! WELCOME Baby Christina!!! We LOVE you!!!!.jpg)

How exciting. I'll be praying that everything goes smoothly until the adoption is final. What a cutie.
That is so exciting! I hear the adoption process can really drag, so it's great to hear their dreams are finally coming true!
