Our baby girl turned six last Friday. I can't believe she's getting so big! So she woke up on her special day to a room decorated with balloons and streamers. We spent the afternoon at the pool with her cousins and had a ball. Grandpa Petty had surgery on her b-day too, which made her really upset. She was worried about him. So after swimming we popped over to the hospital to see him and I think she felt much better after seeing that he was doing so well. On our way home from the hospital, she decided she wanted to have dinner at "a birthday resteraunt that sings you a song and gives you a treat". So...Red Robin it was! She enjoyed her dinner with the fam, cousin Brielle and Brett and Brittany and baby Calan. The three things she wanted for her b-day were...an i-pod, a puppy, and a pink mustang (that she could actually drive!). Is she only 6???? So, we fulfilled the i-pod dream. She's pretty excited about it too! Kyle got her a little stuffed puppy. Not quite what she ordered, but she loved it just the same. And Brett and Britt topped of her b-day wish list with a pink Barbie mustang. It was pretty cute! On Saturday morning, she had a party at the Build-a-Bear Workshop with a few of her friends. The kids had a great time. Then, like clock work, Sunday morning she woke up with her 1st loose tooth. She turns 6 and the teeth start falling out! Jason Padilla is the master of tooth-pullage, so she entrusted her little mouth to him amd sure enough, on the first try the darn thing popped right out...the same day that she noticed it was loose! So it was the perfect end to a perfect birthday weekend!
